Objective of Bangla Awas Yojana List 2025
The Bangla Awas Yojana is designed to promote housing for all by offering financial aid to underprivileged individuals who lack proper shelter. The main goal of this scheme is to provide pucca houses to the economically weaker citizens of West Bengal. This initiative will prove to be helpful in reducing the housing crisis in the state and improving the quality of life of the citizens. Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of West Bengal.
- The applicant must fall under the category of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) as prescribed by the state government.
- The applicant or his family should not have any pucca house in their name.
- The applicant should not have availed of any other housing scheme benefits from the central or state government.
Financial Benefits
Under the Bangla Awas Yojana, selected citizens will be provided financial assistance of INR 1.3 lakh for house construction. This amount will be distributed in a phased manner so that the beneficiaries can construct their houses smoothly.
